(Photo/Getty images)Last week, Pixar announced it was planning to make an animated film about “Dia de los Muertos” or “Day of the Dead” - the Mexican holiday which takes place every year around Halloween and involves vibrant shrines, colorful flowers, sugar skulls, and is a reflective celebration of loved ones who have passed away. Director, Lee Unkrich, of Oscar-winning “Toy Story 3” will be tackling the project.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters sometime in 2015.



This is incredibly exciting news! I hope they do it right though…
